On 25th May 2019, in the North-eastern China, Liaoning Province, in which is held at its capital at the Shenyang Palace Museum… promoting the event is the Industrial Museum of China, also China National Textile and Apparel Council..  In which it was the first season partaking of the China’s Qipao Cultural Festival, in which it was the third season of the Shenyang International festival to be held at the Liaoning Province Capital…

During the Qipao Fashion Show, there was ten China international well known designers whom were show casing there collections during the event…. In which historically Shenyang is the birth place of the Qing Dynasty 1636-1912….  In which Qipao is termed for Qing Dynasty Clothing that the Manchu ethnic wore…… in which the Shenyang Palace Museum was an imperial palace towards two Qing Dynasty emperors. During the event it which was an eight day forums, with exhibitions also related workshops illustrating the birth place of the Old Capital of Cheongsam where the Qing Dynasty-  Qipao was inspired from..

Before that Shanghai 1930’s Qipao-Cheongsam revolution, the Manchurian Cheongsam was the fashion of choice of the Qing Dynasty (1636-1912)   throughout as it standardised that style during the dynasty.. Replacing the previous clothing standard Hanfu – Han Dynasty clothing style, in which also is form fitting towards the women’s silhouette but with a higher degree of freedom of flare of personal, individual style…

The Qing Dynasty Qipao- Cheongsam also have that sense of individual style but it’s more rigid, bold practicality uniformed for the occasion, in which each piece of clothing is hand crafted like, studied in this current Chinese made television production of “Story of Yanxi Palace” to the incredible sense of handcrafted detail of that era of Sixth Year of Qianlong… where the material hand crafted sewn with the necessary details and sewn methods of the that era with modern methods of creating television and movie wardrobe.. Each wardrobe clothing brings those extra layers of the character’s storyline – or multiple stories into that scene that the wardrobe creates represented that person’s individuality…
