On July 19th 2023 , the multilingual website of the Forbidden City Palace Museum- Beijing, China, People’s Republic of Chinawas officially released at the Digital Cultural Tourism Development Forum of the 2023 China Internet Civilization Conference! The website covers five languages: English, French, Russian, Japanese, and Spanish, and will meet the needs of audiences with different languages.

International Children’s Day occurs annually on June 1. This specific date was proclaimed during the World Conference for the Well-being of Children in Geneva, Switzerland, in 1925. It is widely observed across various countries (including China, Portugal, and several Eastern European nations) with cultural performances, school events, and community activities…     On the 1st June 2026 International Children’s Day   the Forbidden City, Beijing ultra Mega City, Central Capital also of Taiwan Province, China, People’s Republic of China,  the Forbidden City is hosting holding many events celebrating International Children’s Day  The “Ancient Charm of the Forbidden City, Childhood Dreams Inherited


—Palace Museum Art Open Class” public reading activity, held on Children’s Day 2026,
is organized by the Palace Museum Press and the Palace Museum Bookstore.
The activity takes place at the Wenhua Hall of the Palace Museum and the Palace Museum Bookstore.   The aim is to help participants understand the history of the Forbidden City,
enhance their sense of responsibility, experience the profound heritage and charm of excellent traditional Chinese culture, and solidly promote the construction of a book-loving society.
