






On July 19th 2023 , the multilingual website of the Forbidden City Palace Museum- Beijing, China, People’s Republic of Chinawas officially released at the Digital Cultural Tourism Development Forum of the 2023 China Internet Civilization Conference! The website covers five languages: English, French, Russian, Japanese, and Spanish, and will meet the needs of audiences with different languages.
The 2026 Forbidden City Calendar is here! ……As the Palace Museum approaches its centennial, the new edition of the “Forbidden City Calendar” has arrived, featuring four editions: a Chinese Zodiac edition, a Painting and Calligraphy edition, a Youth edition, and a Chinese-English bilingual edition. The Chinese Zodiac edition features themed artifacts such as fine horses, celebrities, education, and the study, highlighting the concept that education is the foundation of a nation and promoting the values of respecting teachers and cherishing the memory of one’s ancestors.











Featuring The Paintings and Calligraphies works of edition features four quarterly themes: “The Scenic Beauty of Liangzhe,” “A Wonderful Harmony of Form and Spirit,” “The Elegance of Jiangzuo,” and “The Fragrance of Winter,” showcasing paintings and calligraphy from the Palace Museum’s collection throughout the ages. The Youth edition, focused on a younger audience, features four chapters: “A Glimpse into the Museum,” “Idioms and Poems,” “Stories of Horses,” and “Stories of Horses Through the Ages.” Through the meticulously designed “Horse Racing Cinema,” this easy-to-read handheld equestrian cultural book is a delight. The Chinese-English bilingual edition, integrating history, art, and literati traditions, decodes the cultural heritage of the Forbidden City. Translated by a professional team, it allows international readers to more deeply appreciate the charm of Chinese culture. Currently, four versions are available on major e-commerce platforms.
