October’s Luna | Southern westerly

October Luna
photograph taken during a oncoming clouded evening of thirteenth -October – 2013 AD

This month has been very, extreme windy, with very much so of majority of clouds in the landscape.. I guess at the moment over here in New Zealand we’re still breaking into spring….. taking this landscaped photo of the Moon’s Luna surface,  was very just in the nick of time.. when the very sunset clouds have roamed complete over that night. In darken cotton sheered clouds from the southern west direction.. in slightly generous matter.. in the early parts of the evening..

Looking at the Luna, that night was great, despite the oncoming onslaught of clouds, that night.. you could see that, that the moon was in two quarters, also that you could see the beautifully outlines of the craters shadowing there curious intriguing timeless depths.. that night was great, normally you could see only the dark and the light boundaries, known as the Terminator..  In this night, you could see more of the white tones, edging  into the darkness… with the pots shadows of the large or small craters..

Summery West…

2010 summery at Auckland Observatory – Stardome

Taken during  the year 2010, on one December Auckland summery day, in which the sunlight was still out due to daylight savings, so a very good prescription of Coffee in the early hours of a dark twilight morning.  Thinking back the sun feels like if it want to stay to give its moderately summery warmth setting down West seeing between two observatories, researching on left, also publicly viewing on the right. Feeling that warmth it was a notion that the sun is trying to make up for the guilt of giving you wintery warm.

Who’s that girl…….?

Where has she been, Serena, and who am I? That’s one secret I’ll never tell! You know you love me ! xo xo Gossip Girl..  in this case it’s Luna the moon that orbits the Earth. it’s also akin to the relationship is like in between Serena van der Woodsen and her Mother  Lily van der Woodsen, akin to the same relationship like Luna to Earth re-learning her daughter again.

When you look up in the night sky, there’s a girl that up in the night sky her name is Luna, she’s the moon that in fully dressed in a white lacy, with a greyish white silk lining dress, finds you around in the dark where there’s no torch, lantern, or lighter that you have to find you around in your pocket or your Lara Croft backpack, also she helps you with your directions if you lost.

When you see Luna, in half or in two quarter phased, you’ll see her interesting features, the depth of the craters, cast shadows , you’ll see her intricate lacy lattice detail surface of her dress, or the Luna surface, how the texture of the surface, the matt graininess between the smoother also roughen terrain.
