Recently lately Shiatzy Chen founder of her own label has showcase her collection for the Paris Fashion Show of 2018, for the spring collection in which she innovative with creative oriental prints on her collection in which she draws inspiration from romantic oriental Chinese Hanfu Chinese inks painting that’s found in HanFu- Han Dynasty clothing,  in which she drawing scenically in which using the fabric like a blank canvas looking through that Chinese Painting scene gazing through a 1930’s Hong Kong stain glass window..  In which part of her emotional inspiration was drawn from a visit to the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona…….

In which her current collection for spring summer 2018 translating those Chinese Oriental Paintings embroidering hand crafted onto sewn with various selection of coloured threads, with beads to give it various storytelling layers that’s painting threaded tells the story on the fabrics of the clothing..  in which has strong bold colours with exquisite  silhouettes

Grand Master Qipao Shanghai Tailor- Hongsheng zhu of Han Yi (瀚艺)  is one of the Qipao-Cheongsam masters also he founded one of the oldest Qipao Shanghai stores , in his nineties years old he still practices his art of making crafting, teaching tailoring Qipao-cheongsam since he was an accredited famously back in 1933 Shanghai  when he started to tailored the most difficult craftsmanship of tailoring the lacy Qipao in which needle working was highly detail,  in which earn him more than the tittle legend in with from those years he’s seen a lot of changes fashion wise how the industry in PROC China progressively changed in Qipao industry was almost brought to standing still till when China started to open up the market then when the resurgences of traditional Qipao fashion bloom again in China as it was retain in Already Tomorrow in Hong Kong as most of the Shanghai Master Qipao tailors restarted there Tailoring in Hong Kong .. However when China opening up with the increase consumption of traditional Chinese clothing and textiles…… His works also accredited to becoming an fashion leader as well with the ever changing times he proposed a haute couture for his Qipao collection in which have bee numerous featured in films and television..As he rested, he still continues to the day in mentoring the next Qipao master tailors within his company also outside whom he teaches..

Qipao-Cheongsam is uniquely hand crafted tailored Chinese dress to the customer’s various measurements… in which you can still have them brought of the rack in which is accustomed to the standard measurements… in which you can tell which is western influenced with the back zipped in which the Eastern traditional Chinese Tailors would have the side zipped of the Qipao dress due it interrupts the flow of the pattern work at the back of the dress..  Also it creates a continuous seamless back look…  after as the measurements are translated drafted onto the silk or the customer desired accustomed fabric of choice, from the measurements book with the associated look of the design elements with additional accessories the sexiness of Qipao lies subtlety.. Measuring, patterning, cutting, and button making are crucial, in where passion and art comes together in tailoring
