On a late very wintery early mid-August night I watched Ip Man three (14th October 1893- Fut Shan Kwong Tong Province Qing Dynasty Imperial China to 1st December 1972 Hong Kong) in which I watched Donnie Yen redention of Ip Man’s life in Hong Kong as he begins to retire into family life a much more quieter life than he had before, in that retirement towards a quieter life is Wife Lady Cheung Wing Sing- Lynn Hung, the human hall mark of Ip Man.. In which his wife wore more of the innovative Qipao dresses during the process of the movie in which was the stable woman’s wear fashion of Hong Kong .. as to her husband worn the men’s version of the Qipao..

Lady Cheung Wing Sing, during her life in Hong Kong daughter to a late Qing Dynasty Government senior minister official, in the redention film of Ip Man three wore several stunning creative elegant Qipao in which the ones that she wore, the Qipao that Lynn Hung wore in reenactment of her, in which designed by Pik Kawn Lee  the costume designer for the film..  Orthough there are many Qipao worn during the movie of IP Man three the colours that she wore portray her has a strong woman, the woman in front her husband’s life even though Cheung Wing Sing is undergoing some health issues  both work things out together…

“Story of Yanxi Palace” – Qing Dynasty – Qipoa -Chenogsam – Seamstress Lady Wei Wei

 

Before the innovation of the Modern Qipao- Cheongsam in 1930’s Shanghai which revolutionised how women and men fashion in a very modern China, in which also revolution style in in the west, how the western women fashion inspired by the Oriental in which was very tight figure form fitting towards the figure in which elegant shows the women’s figure silhouette which made it iconically worn presently today.. as a major fashionable come back like HanFu..

Before that Shanghai 1930’s Qipao-Cheongsam revolution, the Manchurian Cheongsam was the fashion of choice of the Qing Dynasty (1636-1912)   throughout as it standardized that style during the dynasty.. Replacing the previous clothing standard Han Fu – Han Dynasty clothing style, in which also is form fitting towards the women’s silhouette but with a higher degree of freedom of flare of personal, individual style…

The Qing Dynasty Qipao- Cheongsam also have that sense of individual style but it’s more rigid, bold practicality uniformed for the occasion, in which each piece of clothing is hand crafted like, studied in this current Chinese made television production of “Story of Yanxi Palace” to the incredible sense of handcrafted detail of that era of Sixth Year of Qianlong… where the material hand crafted sewn with the necessary details and sewn methods of the that era with modern methods of creating television and movie wardrobe.. each wardrobe clothing brings that extra layers of the  character’s storyline – or multiple stories into that scene that the wardrobe create represented that persons individuality ..

“Story of Yanxi Palace” Qing Dynasty Qipao-Cheongsam- The Seamtress- Lady Wei Wei..

Premise introduction of延禧攻略 – The Story of Yanxi Palace-  In the sixth year of Qianlong, the young girl Wei Wei sought the death of the long sister and entered the Forbidden City as a palace lady. After investigation, he confirmed that his sister’s death was related to the ridiculous Wang Yehong, and he was determined to seek justice. Queen Fucha succumbed to the ritual, worried that she would go astray and try to give her warmth and help. Under the careful guidance of the Queen, Wei Wei gradually grew into a strong and courteous court lady, and put down resentment and serious life. The unfortunate death of the Queen caused the misunderstanding of Qianlong. The two men were mutually hostile and eventually understood and supported each other. With the courage, the astute and flexible mind, and the broad-minded mind, the ambitions of the courts have been resolved, and they have finally become the shackles of the prosperity of the Qianlong. It was not until before her death that she told the Emperor Fuchao that she had accompanied her to Honglong. She hoped that she would accompany her to Hongyi and help him to be a Mingjun, and that Qianlong knew that Fucha had a good heart. In the 60 years of Emperor Qianlong, Emperor Qianlong declared that the son of Wei Wei, the prince of Yongzheng, was the crown prince. At the same time, he was the queen of the prince, and he finally fulfilled his promise to the Queen of Fucha with his own life.

Recently sitting during the last biweekly during a rained in Labour Day weekend in Yesterday in Auckland, in which it sits during in between the 20th to 23rd October 2017 in which the Auckland Armageddon is currently held in Greenlane at the ASB Expo and Pavilion Center…   Armageddon Auckland is one of many Armageddon sci-fi Comic Conventions on a smaller scale to Hong Kong’s Ani-Com and Games as to the larger scale conventions Comic Con in between from San Diego to New York’s Comic Con also other various larger scale Comic Con’s in the United States…

One aspect of Armageddon is the high degree of passion of Cosplay in which it has no boundaries… in living costume play of their favourite character from their favourite movie, television, novel, Anime -manga , in which one iconic theme Cosplay is Star Wars in which is always a traditional favourite.. In which mostly a majority Star Wars cosplayers come as Team Darth Vader in either in his whole attire or as part of the team as various variants of Stormtroopers..  As some of the majority is team Jedi cosplaying in various stories of Jedi with the sassy Princes Leia in her stylist iconic Alderaan white dress among with Han Solo… along with other key characters from the three trilogies..

The New Zealand 501 legion whom work in doing awesome charitable work that involves rasing funds for the Ronald McDonald children hospital …. also the Happiness Darth Maul ever..

Mostly all of the Star Wars is composite created crafted by the cosplayers itself or outsourcing the cosplay wardrobe from else where in which there’s nothing wrong without self crafting it’s the passion that behind the cosplaying that unifies  in which one Star Wars like the ones that featuring made by the New Zealand 501 legions from the Outpost 42 are highly degree resourced, resourcefully self  or out made, in which this year they’ve been relocated in the signing hall in which the Outpost 42- 501 legion was previously located in Hall C.. in which they have a great location in gathering for a collecting charitable funds for the New Zealand Ronald McDonald House a Charity in which funds in helping out children in need in during their stay in hospital also after.. next year’s Auckland Armageddon Star Wars Cosplaying should be interesting in which we’ll shall see.. ?

STAR WARS – ANOVOS – Poe Dameron Blue Squadron Helmet

Coming soon is one of many Wardrobes headgear elements of Star Wars Universe is the Iconic headgear….. One Comes to mind is the helmets, mostly are in Stormtroopers where there are various assortments……  One recently arrived in the scene is The Anovos Star Wars- The force awakens – Poe Dameron Blue Squadron Helmet….. Coming soon on summer 2017….. Like Luke Skywalker’s iconic orange red white X-Wings Helmet Same with Poe Dameron’s aswell as a Decorated head strong attitude in which lead him into interesting situations…. Poe’s Helmet comes with his own colour scheme in which of his blue squadron colours….

The recreation of Poe’s Helmet is taken from the original studio prop, Digitally Scanned from the prop, reproduced into fibre glass, then finished with interior lining with a finishing appearance. Poe’s Helmet is generally made up to size eight US hat Size…

In the “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them Hot Topic collection” it most of the collection is drawn out from Art Deco roaring periods of 1920’s which the dresses are simply elegantly drawn, with soft textured luxurious fabrics with dresses comes in with various dresses silhouettes featuring of those fashionable  Art Deco 1920’s elements years also of that world of “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them”…..

Featuring pink Queenie Dress which features a pink chiffon drop waist flapper dress in which has a gorgeous simple V neckline which is perfect for accessorizing with a strand of pearls, or a that stunning pendant..

With Tina’s Pin up dress is simply a everyday dress, in which features the traditional black and white office look, but comes with a stunning empire waist dress silhouette accompany with a very cute cream crepe bodice with a  school girl like collar with a ribbon bow tie…
