Today it’s the 18th February 20201 marks the day of the Rain Solar Solstice… also the prelude for the Spring Season… in which also to returning back to work from the seven day Chinese lunar New Year Holiday that’s celebrated across the Chinese- Asian Communities globally around the world also in China- People’s Republic of China.. ……..Today, 雨水, start working well at 18:44 today, the rainy solar terms are ushered in. The connotation of the rain solar term is “the east wind thaws, the ice and snow are scattered and turned into water, and turned into rain, hence the name rain”. This day coincides with the sixth day of “Seven Nine”, and it is already the season of “Seven Nine Rivers open and Bajiu Geese”. At this time, the river breaks the ice, the wild geese return north, the vegetation sprouts, and the earth presents a scene of prosperity.

In 古宫知时节- Forbidden city, @宋英杰Song Yingjie Beijing –   Haidian District weather presenter wrote: Rain is the most popular name, and the most common saying is: The rain solar term is the solar term that starts to rain. The original meaning of rain climate refers to the Yellow River Basin where solar terms originate. The probability of rainfall is higher than the probability of snowfall. Nationally, the rainy season has the smallest temperature rise in the entire spring solar term. Not only has the sunshine not increased, but has also decreased, which is unique. Why is this so? Because of the rainy season, the sky changes from snow to rain, and the ground changes from freezing to thawing. This is a systematic project that takes time and energy, so the recovery is weak. In the process of melting snow and warm spring flowers, the rain solar term is a tough “ice-breaking” solar term. The spring blossoms in the spring season are all icing on the cake on this basis….
