The Temple of Heaven Park is located in the south of Beijing, on the east side of Yongdingmen Inner Street in Dongcheng District. It covers an area of about 2.73 million square meters. In the thirteenth year of Jiajing (1534), Yuanqiu was renamed the Temple of Heaven, and Fang Ze was renamed the Temple of Earth.
